UltraStrip’s robotic and manual marine coating removal equipment is revolutionary; and the company has identified several markets that stand to benefit from its water-jetting technology. UltraStrip’s patented processes and equipment used to remove the coating on ships can be used to remove coatings from above-ground storage tanks (ASTs). Above-ground storage tanks are used for storage of liquid materials such as petroleum and refinery by-products, chemicals, pulp and paper, municipal water, vegetable and mineral oils, and other process liquids.
