The Brisben Water Ozonix™ Process
The Brisben Water Ozonix™ process combines powerful Ozone generation with two forms of ultrasonics to treat a variety of produced water, ballast water or other sources of wastewater.
Ozone - The Ozone molecule's inherently unstable structure gives it a powerful oxidizing capability, with approximately ten times the strength of chlorine and the ability to kill bacteria 3,000 times faster.
- Conveniently manufactured onsite, at low pressures
- Eliminates the need to purchase, store and dispose of toxic cleaning compounds
- Regulated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
- Converts to pure O2 following oxidation
- Preserves water's natural characteristics of taste and smell
Ultrasonics - Ultrasonics greatly enhances the oxidizing power of Ozone.
Acoustic cavitation - submersibles transmit high-intensity sound waves to energy charged bubbles in the water stream
Hydrodynamic cavitation - Ozone is injected through a specially designed manifold to create nano-sized vacuum bubbles that speed up the mass transfer rate.
The combination of high-intensity sound waves and proliferating micro bubbles enables Brisben Water Ozonix™ to achieve a ten-fold improvement in the mass transfer of Ozone into the water to act more quickly and effectively on targeted substances.
