Brisben Water Energy Services Presents at Shale Gas Water Management Marcellus Initiative in Pennsylvania
Robbie Cathey Discusses Brisben Water's 100 Percent Frac Water Recycling Strategy
STUART, Fla., April 15, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brisben Water Energy Services, a subsidiary of Brisben Water (OTCBB:ESPH), a diversified water engineering and environmental services company, announces today that Chief Operating Officer Robbie Cathey, presented at the Shale Gas Water Management Marcellus Initiative 2011 in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania on April 13, 2011 to an audience of over 400 operators, service providers, regulators, and oil and gas industry experts interested in water management issues.
Mr. Cathey's presentation focused on concerns that the industry is facing with regards to water re-use and recycling, and also examined various case studies in which Brisben Water has recycled water for major energy companies at both on-site and off-site locations in major shale plays around the United States. Mr. Cathey highlighted operational updates from the field and also discussed what economical and environmental implications the patented Brisben Water Ozonix technology is currently having for customers that are using Ozonix on a daily basis.
Mr. Cathey stated: "My objective was to share the success Brisben Water has experienced over the last two years in other major shale plays with operators in the Marcellus Shale. Over the last 18 months, Brisben Water has treated over 16,000,000 barrels of fluid for operators in the Fayetteville and Woodford Shale formations. As regulatory and political pressures increase in the Marcellus Shale region, it will be important for operators to have a proven, non-chemical solution available to recycle and manage fluids. Brisben Water's Ozonix technology is that solution and has been proven on over 300 wells and by third party laboratories. Brisben Water's patented Ozonix technology is a high-volume, advanced oxidation process that treats water at the well site, eliminating the need for chemicals."
