Brisben Water Technologies and Newfield Exploration Receive Permit Approval From Oklahoma Commission to Build and Operate Water Recycling Facility for Natural Gas
STUART, FL--(Marketwire - 07/20/09) - Brisben Water (OTC.BB:ESPH), a diversified water engineering and services company, announces today that the Corporation Commission of Oklahoma approved a permit application by Newfield Exploration Mid-Continent, Inc. to build and operate a water recycling plant utilizing the Brisben Water Ozonix Water Treatment System for two years. The permit will allow Newfield to process frac flowback water into freshwater and brine utilizing Brisben Water's Ozonix System through its subsidiary, Brisben Water Energy Services.

Their representatives visited our site twice during the pilot program to witness the Ozonix System working and took samples for independent testing. The Brisben Water Ozonix System will also result in fewer trucks on the road hauling water which will reduce both carbon emissions and a waste stream from drilling operations. The frac flowback waste stream will be recycled for fracturing new wells or returned to the environment through land application. The initial program began in November 2008. The permit granted is for a two year period and will be reviewed in June of 2011 to determine if the program is allowed to continue.
