In this role, Mr. McGuire leads development of innovative and scalable solutions to help solve the global water crisis. Mr. McGuire?s U.S. and International Patents have been assigned to UltraStrip Systems and have become the foundation of a broad intellectual property base encompassing robotic coating removal for ships, automobiles, and aircraft; and water filtration technology that purifies water while preventing hazardous industrial by-products from being released into the environment. Mr. McGuire developed the technology for the first full-scale robotic coating removal services in ship repair history on the FPSO Jamestown while that ship was dry-docked in Lisnave, Portugal. During this process, approx. 200,000 sq. ft. of coatings were removed using a robotic vehicle and only high pressure water. The highly toxic wastewater was treated on site, and remediated to drinking water standards, with the company?s proprietary mobile water filtration technology. This technology has recently been verified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to treat wastewater from a terrorist attack on a municipal water supply.
