As Chairman of Brisben Water Technologies, I write to address a series of recent reports from an online newsletter written by Melissa Davis. Her writings about Brisben Water and our founder and CEO, Dennis McGuire, contain false information, distortions, and a basic misunderstanding of the law.
Brisben Water is a real business with environmentally sound technology. Brisben Water has contracts with major energy companies that supply $650,000 monthly income. For example, a large independent exploration company drilling natural gas wells in Oklahoma has used our services and technology on many of the wells it has drilled in the past twelve months. Our Ozonix technology is the only technology the Oklahoma Conservation Commission has approved to clean frac waters from drilling operations.
Brisben Water’s environmentally safe technologies are the reason why the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office awarded it three patents shortly after the Applications were filed as part of President Obama’s Green Technology Fast Track Program. One of them is a patented electro-oxidant technology that can treat industrial waste waters without using toxic liquid chemicals.
Mr. McGuire is an extraordinarily gifted inventor. The Board of Directors and I have complete confidence in not only his talents but also in his ability to provide value to our shareholders. His Ozonix technology has the potential to solve major water problems for the energy business and for other industries that need to clean and recycle water that is a byproduct of their industrial operations. As someone who has spent much of his career furthering environmental causes, I am proud to assist Brisben Water in meeting these pressing needs.
On a personal note, I have known Mr. McGuire for over ten years. I have also known about his issue since the inception. Over two decades ago he made mistakes. He is to be commended for turning his life around and dedicating himself to creating technology that cleans the environment. He is also devoted to his wife and three sons. Such redemption should be the basis for praise. His past clearly has no relevance to Brisben Water’s business success and its excellent technology.
It is also important for our shareholders to know that all SEC filings were done by counsel with full knowledge of Mr. McGuire’s background. All Brisben Water filings fully complied with all SEC requirements.
We do not know why this newsletter group wants to harm our stockholders. We will leave it to our lawyers to address these distortions and false information. Meanwhile, we will run Brisben Water with the same commitment to our shareholders and the environment that we have had for the last decade.
All Brisben Water’s Board Members join me in fully supporting Dennis in this matter.
